Does Your Toothpaste Have a Warning Label?

Does Your Toothpaste Have a Warning Label?

young living thieves toothpaste

What kind of toothpaste do you use?

Do you look at the ingredients? Have you ever thought to? Are you aware that most people probably don’t. Up until a few years ago, I used your typical toothpaste that you can buy off any shelf at the grocery store. I never thought anything of  it. I never thought about the ingredients and I never thought about the WARNING label clearly written on the tube. Even sadder, I bought these toothpastes for my children. I never considered them potentially swallowing some- a little or a lot- with a WARNING label, why would I subject my little children to that harm? We are warned not to swallow more than what is used for brushing. If you swallow, CONTACT POISON CONTROL. Think about this for a minute! If accidentally swallowed, contact poison control. This is what we put in our mouth twice, if not three times a day. Even if we do not swallow, the lining of the mouth has a 90% absorption efficiency, so we poison ourselves anyway. YIKES! Young or old, should we be putting this in our mouth with such a warning label? I personally say NO. Thus the reason why I decided to change. :)

Natural Toothpaste Option- Thieves

When I started using Young Living essential oils, the essential oils changed our life so dramatically, that I also wanted to change our household products and items we put in and on the skin. I did not try the thieves toothpaste right away. I did switch over to natural toothpastes, but no one in my family liked any. It did not give us the “fresh breath” we were accustomed to and wanted. We knew we could find one. Thankfully, we tried Young Living Thieves toothpaste. They have a few to choose from. The one that I love and use is the one I want to share about. It is called Thieves Dentarome Ultra.

Thieves Dentarome Ultra Toothpaste

This toothpaste is an advanced formula of all-natural ingredients that gently cleans and whitens your teeth while harnessing the power of pure, therapeutic-grade Thieves essential oil blend for fresh breath. Dentarome Ultra is preferred by those concerned with the appearance of whiter teeth. It contains the whitening agent papain, an anti-stain enzyme derived from papayas, to help whiten your teeth and improve your smile.

Ingredients in Thieves Toothpaste:

Calcium carbonate, essential oil concentrate containing peppermint essential oil, Thieves essential oil blend (a powerful blend of clove, cinammon bark, lemon, Eucalyptus radiata, and rosemary, zinc oxide, deionized water with papain, xylitol, vegetable glycerine, essential oil base (thymol from Thymus vulgaris), Eucalyptus globulus, and methyl salycilate from wintergreen, xanthum gum, zinc citrate, Lecithin, and stevioside.

What kind of toothpaste do you use? How about your children? If you are wanting to try thieves toothpaste, you have a few to choose from. They have a kids toothpaste – great natural alternative! Click HERE to order.

Let’s begin…..
Essential Oils are aromatic liquids. They are distilled from flowers, trees, roots, bushes, and seeds of plants. The distillation process is what makes essential oils so concentrated. It often requires an entire plant or more to produce a single drop of distilled essential oil. For example,it takes thousands of flower petals to create the drops that are in [...]
