Ruta Vala Essential Oil
Sleep like a baby with Ruta Vala Essential Oil
I am so impressed with RutaVala. I earned it for FREE in January 2011 and I am still using it as of June 2012. I use it almost every single night and I keep thinking someone is refilling my bottle because it has lasted so long! If you haven’t tried it yet, I really encourage you to do so. It is wonderful for insomnia. I keep a bottle of it next to my bed and use before bedtime or if I wake up in the night and can’t get back to sleep. It is so calming and relaxing. RutaVala is also good as an antidepressant.
Unique to Young Living, the RutaVaLa Essential Oil Roll-On is a blend of Ruta graveolens (rue), lavender, and valerian essential oils. Although lavender and valerian are well known for their sedative properties, this blend introduces the less-known yet effective rue essential oil. The Ruta graveolens herb is farmed, harvested, and distilled at Gary Young’s farm in Ecuador. Use of the rue herb dates back many centuries and is referenced in the Bible as an herb to be tithed. When combined with lavender and valerian, this trio of essential oils is formulated to relax the body and mind, counter stressed nerves, and revitalize passion.

Hi Carrie,
I’m new to YL oils, I found your site through a google search for ‘YL essential oils for insomnia’.
Can this Rutavala EO be ingested?
I want to get off my prescription strength sleeping pills that I have been on for years, and am looking for something supportive through this process.
Thanks!!
Hey Tina!
Great question and I am glad you are looking for something natural. RutaVala is applied topically. You can rub it on your feet, wrist, the back of your neck and inhale it from your hands. You can also diffuse it in your bedroom if you would like.
If you are looking for something to ingest, you can put a few drops of YL Lavender oil in an empty capsule, or YL Sleep Essence supplements. Let me know how I can assist you in these natural suggestions. Bless you, Tina!
I have to say Carrie that when RutaVaLa first came out, I didn’t care for the aroma. But, I figured I really needed it and both my husband and I started inhaling it before bed. It really does help us to get a good night’s rest. And now, I really do like the aroma!
Hey Carol…LOL, I totally agree. I finally am ok with the smell, but when I first got it, wow.. it took my breath away. Thank you for stopping by. Glad to know you are as much as an oil lover as me. You are a blessing to us in YL and we appreciate you.
