M-Grain Essential Oil
“Oh, my head!” Do you suffer from headaches or even worse, migraines? What do most people do when they have “pain” of most any sort? Yep, grab a tylenol, aspirin, advil, excedrin… whatever over the counter pain medicine they have on hand. I used to do the same. I always had a few bottles laying around- one in my bathroom, one in the kitchen pantry, one in the glove compartment of my car, and of course, one in my purse. If anyone ever had a headache, I was right there to offer them some relief. If you suffer from headaches or migraines and you want to use something natural, versus popping pills, then I recommend trying essential oils. I am so glad I did! They have changed my life! I never realized how much I was damaging my body with all the medicines I would use for my daily ailments.
Young Living M-Grain is a great choice for migraine sufferers. M-Grain is a blend of pure essential oils that soothe head and muscle tension.
M-Grain Essential Oils contains:

My nephew who is 10 years old suffers from headaches and is a pretty stressed kid. I am searching for oils that will help him with stress and headaches. The one hitch is he doesn’t like anything/anyone to touch his head or neck. Could you rub this oil on his vita flex point for his head and it work for him?
Thanks!
hello Amy! Sure I would!
Do you have this oil or any other YL oils?
I don’t have this oil specifically, but I am a distributor. Thank you SO much for your help!!
Can mgrain be put in a hot/cold pack with rice?
I am sure you could do it, but it might destroy the healing/therapeutic properties of the essential oil… heating and cooling the rice pack. GREAT question. I would consider putting the oil on your body topically and diluting if necessary and then placing the hot/cold pack on top so you are getting the cold/heat effect that you want, but the oils are on your skin and not in the rice bag being heated/cooled. Hope that makes sense. That is what I personally recommend. Blessings!
What if your allergic to lavender? any other alternative?
According to Dr. David Stewart, who has written numerous books on essential oils and works in close conjunction to Dr. Gary Young, founder of Young Living, one can NOT be allergic to Young Living essential oils. Have you ever tried YL lavender? It is not the lavender causing an allergic reaction, it is a detox to it, per Dr. Stewart- that is with a pure, therapeutic grade Young Living essential oil. Most lavender oils on the market are cosmetic/fragrant grade and are filled with synthetics and toxins, so yes you could be allergic to lavender, b/c of what is actually in the bottle despite what the label reads. Peppermint, Deep Relief, and Pan Away are other good oils for headaches. I do not believe lavender is in any of those. Great question! Thank you! Let me know if you need further assistance.
How do you use them for headache relief? Do you ingest them, rub them on your forehead or…?
Hey Kori! Great question! Place two drops in the palms of the hands, cup over nose, and breathe deeply. Apply a drop on temples, forehead, and back of neck. Hope that helps!
