Kids in the Kitchen Link Up Week 32

kids in the kitchen link up

What’s cooking in your kitchen this week? We have made a lot of smoothies and juice this week. Many of our main meals/dishes that we cooked this week were meals that I have already posted, so I am sharing with you one of our favorite juicing recipes. It really helps boost your immune system and cleanse your body and give your digestion a rest. We absorb the nutrients of the fruits and vegetables so much better when juiced versus our bodies having to break down the food.

Fruit and Veggie Lovers Juice Delight

Kids in the Kitchen Fruit and veggie lovers juice delight young living essential oils

1 organic lemon, cut in half

1 organic green apple, seeds removed, cut into fourths

4 organic carrots, shredded

2 organic celery stalks

1/4 organic beet, skin removed

2 organic kale stalks

1/2 organic cucumber

small piece of ginger sliced from root

favorite Young Living essential oil for added taste and amazing cleansing/detox benefits

Add all the ingredients into your juicer, stir well, pour into a glass, add your favorite essential oil and enjoy your drink!

Now, it’s your turn! Share with us- Carrie at Young Living Oil Lady and Kelli at AdventurzinChildrearing your family friendly recipe. What have you been making this week? How are you inspiring your kids to get in the kitchen? Use this time to bond with your children. Cooking is so much fun and many subjects can be discussed right in the kitchen while you are cooking!

So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.(1 Corinth. 10:13)

Wow so colorful! I haven’t really tried juicing yet but I keep seeing more and more reasons why I should. Maybe I’ll start with some smoothies :) I’d love if you came and shared at our healthy food link party! http://www.youngnesters.net/2012/09/snacktime-saturday-week-2.html

Thanks for hosting! I’ve been wanting to try a veggies/fruit smoothie but I’m so afraid I won’t like it and that I’ll have wasted all that good food. I’ll have to give it a try! So healthy:)

Juicing is amazing!!! Start with more fruits and then add in more and more veggies once you adapt to the taste. Blessings!
