Kids in the Kitchen Link Up Week 17

Let’s Juice!

It’s summer, it’s hot, so let’s juice! Juicing is so beneficial. I notice when I juice, the boys are more likely to want one too.  Juicing is a great way to get in extra fruits and vegetables that otherwise might not occur in you or your kids.  As long as my boys don’t see the spinach or the kale going into the juicer, they will drink it.  :) Whatever works, right?!

Whenever you juice, use organic fruits and vegetables, if possible.

My favorite juice recipe:

kids in the kitchen juice recipe

4 carrots, peeled

4 celery stalks

1/2 beet

2-3 kale stalks

1/4-1/2 cucumber

1 apple, seeds removed

1/2 lemon

handful of parsley

ginger

My boys’ favorite juice recipe:

4 -6 carrots, peeled

1 apple, seed removed

Now, it’s your turn! Share with us- Carrie at Young Living Oil Lady and Kelli at AdventurzinChildrearing your family friendly recipe. What have you been making this week? How are you inspiring your kids to get in the kitchen? Use this time to bond with your children. Cooking is so much fun and many subjects can be discussed right in the kitchen while you are cooking!

So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.(1 Corinth. 10:13)

I know it’s not the same as full on juicing, but I really enjoy a cold smoothie after working in the yard.
Thanks for hosting and enjoy the rest of the week!
