Joy Essential Oil

Joy is a luxuriously exotic blend with uplifting overtones that creates magnetic energy and brings joy to the heart.  I love this oil.  I wear it as my perfume.  I have not worn a “perfume” in years, as I became too sensitive to them and I would get headaches. I believe and know now it is because of the ingredients in cosmetic perfumes. I have realized what you put ON your body, goes IN your body, therefore I choose Joy!

Bergamot, ylang ylang, geranium, rosewood, lemon, mandarin, jasmine, Roman chamomile, palmarosa, and rose.

Bergamot – builds confidence and enhances my mood (reminds many of Earl Grey Tea)

Lemon – revitalizes and uplifts

Ylang Ylang – calms and relaxes and helps to release feelings of anger and tension.

Rose – brings balance and harmony and creates a sense of Well-being and self confidence.

Geranium – helps release negative memories

Jasmine – soothes, uplifts and enhances self confidence

Rosewood – steadying and balancing of emotions

Roman Chamomile – relaxes and calms body and mind.

Proverbs 27:9 “Perfume and oil bring joy to the heart, and the pleasantness of a friend springs from their heartfelt advice.”

Hebrews 1:9 ” You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness;  therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy.”

Isaiah 61: ..”to bestow on them a crown of beauty  instead of ashes, the oil of joy  instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.”

That is just a few! What are your favorite scripture verses that talk about Joy? My life verse is Isaiah 61:1-3/Luke 4:18. The Bible passages all have one thing in common-they refer to anointing oils (essential oils) as vehicles to joy, gladness, and rejoicing. The physical state has to do with the emotional state. They go hand in hand.  YL essential oils bring joy to the heart because they reach the limbic system of your brain (via the sense of smell) that stores your emotions, and are able to release negative energy and bring in positive.

How to Apply Joy

Apply it to your wrists, neck, over your heart topically. Apply it to your hand and inhale. Diffuse joy via a diffuser in your home, office, hotel, or car. A little tip on how I use the oils in my car.  I put a few drops of essential oil on a cotton ball and put them in various places in my car.
